Sergio "Checs" Garcia

Known to many as "CHECO" or "CHECS", Sergio is a confident and down to earth artist that is proud to be from South Texas. Located in Brownsville, he comes from an area called "Villas Cavazos" which is just mere yards away from the Rio Grande. Growing up so close to the border, Sergio decided he must make his family proud by doing his best to achieve the most in life and see what this world has to offer. This led to him journeying off and becoming an art graduate from The Art Institute of Houston. He has traveled the many metropolitan cities that Texas has to offer and overcame plenty of trials and tribulations on his path.
Sergio now lays his head in Austin TX, a city where he can express himself to the fullest. With his God given talent in hand (literally), Sergio's flourishing skills are taking the city by storm. Recognized, Sergio, is now the first sponsored artist from the "Corrupt" label. One thing that's sets Sergio apart from the rest is that he does not constrain his skill just to paint on canvas. He uses a wide variety of media to express himself. This can range from a piece of plastic, Styrofoam, plaster…basically recycled materials being transferred to the canvas and taking life in a new form. Sergio can either paint to suit any client or let his imagination attack the canvas and run wild.
